Rather than just for a day, why not extend your celebrations to a long weekend party!

The Chateau is a spectacularly romantic 17th century chateau nestling in the foothills of the mountains on the western edge of the Rhone Valley. Half-way between Lyon and Marseilles, the Chateau catches the best of the continental and Mediterranean climates.

Its hidden location and 63 acres of wooded hillside provide a truly tranquil and private setting and yet it is within 15 minutes of the main autoroute and 40 minutes from a high-speed (TGV) train to Paris (2 hours) or London (5 hours). The excellent international airport of Lyon is only 90 minutes away.

On site you will find 2 swimming pools, 25 bedrooms and a banqueting hall capable of seating 90. We can't offer Civil Ceremonies (as that doesn't happen in France) but a blessing and an extended party are the thing.

So if you fancy something really very different, consider a Civil Ceremony and reception on a Thursday in one or our UK venues for as many as you like and then fly down to the Chateau du Bijou for the weekend with up to 50 of your closest friends and family.
